Brackenfield’s Beckham?

in Education/Harrogate

With the recent retirement of David Beckham, a prep might already have laid claim to his replacement. Josh Moon in year 3 at Brackenfield has won no fewer than three playing for the Falcons Under 8’s.

Josh was voted the “Coaches Player of the Season”, “Class Passer” and gained the most Man of the Match awards during the season. He is one of three Brackenfield pupils currently playing for United, having previously played in the York City and Middlesborough development squads.

Needless to say, the Under 9’s team at Brackenfield School has enjoyed a very successful season!

Principal, Anthony Comerford, is delighted with Josh’s success:

It’s wonderful for Josh to be recognised in this way. I’m sure he’ll continue to develop his football to a very high level. I wish him every success. He’s certainly one to watch out for in years to come!
