Age UK is the largest charity for older people, combining Age Concern and Help the Aged into one charity in 2010. The charity raises about £47million per annum through fundraising alone.

Kate Maybury of Raworths said:

My work frequently brings me into contact with elderly people and this seems a good way to raise money for what is a very important cause, especially at a time when older people may find the value of their savings eroding and their standard of living falling.
