Harrogate police renew appeal to find wanted man

John-ChristiansenHarrogate police have renewed their appeal to the public to help them find a wanted man.

John Mark Christiansen was arrested on 12 January 2013, and charged with stealing eight bottles of aftershave from the same Boots store. Christiansen due appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court to answer those charges and another charge of stealing four cans of cider from a petrol station on Ripon Road.

Harrogate Magistrates’ Court issued a warrant for his arrest after he failed to attend on 31 January 2013 to answer the theft charges.

Police issued an appeal in February this year which prompted a significant response from the public but has yet to lead to his arrest.

John Mark Christiansen, aged 35, of Robert Street, is wanted in connection with the theft of seven bottles of aftershave from Boots, on Cambridge Street, on 14 January 2013.

Officers are appealing to anyone who knows where Christiansen is or sees him around, to get in touch.

He is described as white, around 6ft 1in tall, with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 1 – and pass information to the Force Control Room.
