Two arrested as Harrogate burglary investigation continues

PoliceTwo men from West Yorkshire have been arrested in connection with three day-time burglaries in Harrogate.

The incidents occurred at properties on Vernon Road and Ashgarth Court between 2 and 9 February 2013.

Various items of jewellery, watches, a camera, television and a games console were among the items stolen.

Following extensive enquiries by Harrogate CID and with support from West Yorkshire Police, the two men – both aged 40 – were arrested in Bradford on Tuesday 20 February.

The men were transported to North Yorkshire for questioning and then released on conditional police bail pending further enquiries.
