Police hunt for Harrogate criminal damage suspect

Harrogate police are appealing for the public’s help to locate a wanted man.

Christopher Beane, 30, is wanted in connection with an incident of criminal damage which occurred at around 11pm on Tuesday 25 December 2012, on Hambleton Road, Harrogate, when the window of a Renault Clio was broken.

Beane is white, 5ft 11in tall with a medium build and dark brown hair.

Although his whereabouts are unknown it is believed that Beane is still in the Harrogate area.

Temporary Chief Inspector Sarah Sanderson, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

Chris, if you see or hear this appeal I strongly advise you to hand yourself in at your local police station. You are not doing yourself any favours by avoiding dealing with this issue.

Although Beane is not considered to pose a risk to the public, if you do see him please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 immediately.

We have been making regular visits to addresses where Beane is understood to have links. These visits will continue until we have located him. Anyone who may be shielding Beane needs to be aware that they are possibly committing offences.

 

Anyone who can help to locate Christopher Beane is urged to call North Yorkshire Police on 101 straight away, select option 1 and pass the information to the Force Control Room.
