Police received a report at 2.50pm on 8 January 2013 that a man was threatening to harm himself on West Park, Harrogate. Officers arrived at the scene and found the man had cut himself with a knife.
The knife was taken off him by police officers before he was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to an arm injury.
