BAFTA-winning production company The Garden is hunting for ordinary people to put their survival skills to the ultimate test in a potential second series of Channel 4’s major new show, Apocalypse.
What would you do if civilisation as we know it came to an end? If you were stripped of light, power, running water, and heat in a ruined urban environment, how would you cope?
The Garden—the acclaimed production company behind global hits like Squid Game: The Challenge, 24 Hours in A&E, and 24 Hours in Police Custody—is launching the brand-new series on Channel 4 this September. Ahead of the premiere, casting teams are already on the lookout for a diverse cross-section of people for a potential second series.
The immersive social experiment challenges ordinary citizens to survive and thrive for 28 days without any of the comforts of 21st-century life, examining human resilience when pushed to the absolute edge of existence.
Who are they looking for?
The producers are seeking a wide range of people with ingenuity, resilience, and the courage to put themselves to the test. Crucially, no previous survival experience is necessary to apply.
Key Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
- Residency: Must be a UK or Republic of Ireland resident with a valid passport.
- Availability: Applicants must be able to take up to 5 weeks off work to be abroad for filming during February, March, or April 2027 (reasonable loss of earnings will be recompensed).
How to Apply:
If you think you have what it takes to survive the end of the world, you can apply directly online.
Closing Date: Midnight on Sunday, 4th October 2026.
