The family of a man who died in a collision in Thirsk have paid tribute to someone who “meant something to everyone, but absolutely everything to us”.
The collision occurred in the Market Place just before 10.30pm on Sunday 7 June 2026. It involved a white Mercedes A Class car and a pedestrian.
The family of Peter Hudson, 61, from Thirsk, said:
We are devastated by the loss of our amazing Pete.
Totally irreplaceable, kind, loving and hilarious. He was adored by family and friends, and meant something to everyone, but absolutely everything to us. We will love him and miss him always.
