Following the phenomenal success of their latest production ‘Love Stories’, which dazzled audiences during its premiere 2-night run at Harrogate Theatre in February, the Choir is thrilled to announce an exciting series of events for their 2026 schedule. Under the direction of their talented Musical Director, Catherine Field-Leather, you can be sure that the choir will deliver a number of entertaining performances in the months to come.
Spring Concert: A Season Of Love, 23 April 2026
Continuing their 2026 theme of love, Harrogate Theatre Choir invites audiences to join them for their Spring concert, ‘A Season Of Love’. Set to take place on Thursday 23 April 2026 at the charming Hampsthwaite Memorial Hall, this 75-minute musical journey will feature some of the greatest love songs from stage and screen. Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with emotional highs and tender reflections as the choir brings poignant and passionate love stories to life through song. This Thursday evening session promises to be a heart-warming experience of musical magic that will sweep the audience off their feet!
Performance at Newby Hall, 31 May 2026
The choir is then set to entertain visitors at Newby Hall, Ripon on Sunday 31 May 2026. Guests are invited to enjoy a performance on the lawn of the Garden Restaurant. Simply book a Garden Admission ticket for that day and enjoy an afternoon of musical theatre in this glorious outdoor setting. The performance will include a selection of songs from much loved musicals, including some family favourites, such as The Greatest Showman, Wicked, Oliver, Moulin Rouge and many more. Attendees can also take advantage of their Newby Hall radio voucher at this event.
Summer Concert: St Wilfrid, Harrogate, 19 June 2026
Fans of Harrogate Theatre Choir can look forward to their much anticipated Summer Concert. This year the concert takes place on Friday evening, 19 June 2026, at the magnificent Church of St. Wilfrid in Harrogate. It is sure to delight audiences with another love-themed performance.
Autumn Concert: Love Stories 2, The Crown, Harrogate, 18 October 2026
After a well-deserved summer break, Harrogate Theatre Choir will return to The Crown Hotel in Harrogate on Sunday evening, 18 October, for another spectacular production, ‘Love Stories 2’. This sequel to their Harrogate Studio production will delight audiences who came along to the premiere in February, as well as those who were unable to secure tickets. Under the direction of Musical Director, Catherine Field-Leather, the choir will explore many more aspects of love through some of the greatest love songs from a century of stage and screen. The audience can expect an intimate cabaret style evening filled with drama, theatre, beautiful solos, and rousing ensembles as the songs come to life through entertaining theatrical vignettes.
