Enchantica Spring Ball Raises Over £7,000 for Oatlands Junior School

27 March 2026

The annual Enchantica Spring Ball proved to be a resounding success this year, bringing together families, friends, and local supporters to raise over £7,000 in support of the Oatlands Junior School MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) fund.

The evening, held at the Cedar Court Hotel in Harrogate, was a vibrant celebration of community spirit, featuring entertainment, fundraising activities, and a shared commitment to enhancing outdoor play and sports facilities for pupils. Enchantica’s theatrical and magical touches transported guests into an enchanting under-the-sea themed masquerade ball, creating a truly immersive and memorable experience. Enchantica’s signature Spring Ball is known for blending immersive event design with purposeful fundraising. Drawing on their background in theatrical styling and experiential events.

Head Teacher of Oatlands Junior School, Mrs Scarth, opened the evening and spoke passionately about the importance of the new MUGA space:

This space will be transformational for our children. It will provide a safe, inclusive area where pupils can be active, build confidence, and enjoy sport all year round.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to making this vision a reality.

The event also showcased the generosity of the local community, with a wide range of prizes donated by local businesses and individuals. MC for the evening and the live auction was expertly hosted by local Hotelier Simon Cotton who gave his time voluntarily and was a standout moment of the night, creating excitement and helping to drive fundraising efforts.

Auction prizes included a Forest School party experience donated by school teacher Mr Gray, weekends away in generously donated holiday homes, and exclusive Harrogate-based experiences — from a Morgan Clare fashion experience to VIP wellbeing events with Molton Brown, plus prizes donated by Fat Badger Group — all contributing to a memorable and successful evening.

Suzie Vaughan, Director of Enchantica’s, said:

We are absolutely delighted with the success of this year’s Spring Ball. It has been a pleasure to work with the PTA and support their incredible efforts.

To see so many people come together in support of Oatlands Junior School has been truly special.

Every donation, prize, and bid has helped us take a significant step towards creating a fantastic MUGA space for the children. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Cedar Court, our wonderful venue sponsor, for their generous support in helping us bring this event to life.

Sarah, a parent at the school, added:

I absolutely love this event – it’s such a fun night, and knowing it’s all for such a great cause makes it even more special. It’s amazing to see everyone come together and have such a brilliant time while supporting the school.

In addition to delivering standout events like the Spring Ball, Enchantica also offers a dedicated charity ball package in partnership with local Hotels. Designed to support schools, charities, and organisations in delivering high-impact fundraising events, the package combines expert planning, immersive styling, and an established event framework proven to maximise engagement and fundraising success. Organisations interested in hosting their own Enchantica’s charity ball or learning more about upcoming events are encouraged to get in touch via events@enchanticas.co.uk.

This memorable evening not only raised vital funds but also celebrated the power of collaboration, generosity, and community spirit in making a meaningful difference.
