Luxury British womenswear brand ME+EM to open boutique store in Harrogate

Luxury British womenswear brand ME+EM has announced its continued UK expansion with the opening of its new boutique store in Harrogate, North Yorkshire

The 1,300 square foot store will open in November 2025 on Prospect Crescent, known for its classical Victorian architecture.

In keeping with the global ME+EM design language, the Harrogate store features traditional English furniture juxtaposed with modern design elements such as, neutral toned soft furnishings in fabrications by London based designer Rose Uniacke and plaster walls. An immersive space within the store adopts a full colour drench in a rich forest green, a nod to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales nearby.

Large scale haberdashery fixtures are used to showcase accessories and wardrobe staples, whilst bespoke bronze rails display curated product edits from the seasonal monthly collections.

This development forms part of their long-term business strategy, to continue to grow a physical presence globally. Stores being an integral part of building an omnichannel business and play a crucial role in brand discovery, allowing customers to see and feel the product first-hand.

Harrogate is a beautiful historic town, and we knew from the data that we had a strong existing customer base there.

We’ve seen great success since opening in Manchester – our first store outside of London and Edinburgh – in July, and we were confident that there was an exciting opportunity to open a store in neighbouring Yorkshire.

 

The new store is at 4 Prospect Crescent, HG1 1RY and will open on the 22 November 2025, with a store team comprising a Store Manager, Assistant Manager and Style Advisors.
