As the clocks go back this weekend, winter timetables will be introduced on the weekend DalesBus network.
DalesBus 74 will continue running to Ilkley, Bolton Abbey and Grassington every Saturday throughout the winter. The bus, operated by York & Country, will however have a slightly revised timetable from 25th October, leaving from Knaresborough Bus Station at 0855 and Harrogate Bus Station at 0917.
The bus returns from Grassington at 1700, Bolton Abbey at 1729 and Ilkley at 1752. Full details of the times and route are available online at www.dalesbus.org/74.
Saturday DalesBus 59 to Blubberhouses, Bolton Bridge and Skipton will continue unchanged. Buses run from Harrogate at 0935, 1150, 1445 & 1645 and return from Skipton at 1045, 1250, 1545 & 1745.
Service 24 from Harrogate to Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale National Landscape continues running seven days a week throughout the year, with no changes. The onward connecting Sunday DalesBus services from Pateley Bridge to Grassington and Upper Nidderdale have however now finished for the winter.
As part of the national initiative to reduce the cost of bus travel the maximum single fare on all these services is still just £3, with under 19s travelling for £1. Elderly and disabled bus passes are also valid for free travel.
