Essential Needs furniture store is continuing to expand the services they offer and are now selling brand new beds from today.

The store based behind the Road parade of shops will initially be offering 2 styles of bed with prices starting at only £99 for a single and £139 for a double. Delivery is available throughout the Borough.

The charity is always keen to ensure customer satisfaction and are therefore offering a unique service allowing people to try before they buy.

Asked how the system will work, Lee Wright, Manager said:

We have started selling the new beds due to customer demand. We want to ensure that our customers are getting value for money and everyone always wants a comfy mattress so we are offering customers the opportunity to spend a few hours on the beds in our store.

This can either be during the day, or overnight.

We will even pick up some breakfast at the local M&S for you on our way to work for a small charge. We believe we are the first store in the area, if not nationally to offer this service.

Demand has already exceeded expectations, Lee added:

We are already booked up for overnight stays for the first week and may look at getting extra display beds in to cope if demand continues to be so popular.

As well as the arrival of the new beds, the store also commences opening on selected Saturday mornings (9am-12noon) on 6 April and Lee and the team are looking forward to welcoming new and regular faces into the store.
