Concerns have been raised over, home care provider, Caremark (Harrogate) and they have voluntarily stopped undertaking care contract work commissioned by North Yorkshire County Council.
The Care Quality Commission last inspected in July 2017 and concluded that improvement was needed in safety and leadership. Details of the currently published report can be read here https://www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-2139423144
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire County Council said:
We are aware of the concerns and have been monitoring the quality of the provision.
We expect the highest standards for people who require care and the provider has agreed a voluntary suspension of our care contract while we work with them to make improvements.
A CQC Spokesperson said:
CQC conducted an inspection of the service throughout dates in October.
Inspectors are currently working closely with North Yorkshire County Council to ensure people receive safe high quality care.
The inspection report will be issued in due course.
