Work is now underway for the Harrogate Christmas Market 2018, running 15 November to 18 November 2018.
If you have recently passed the Montpellier Area of the Stray you will have seen the matting going down to protect the grass.
This year the walk-ways will be wider to allow more room for visitors to walk and browse.
Also, there will be additional security measures with concrete barriers in place across the Stray and the road Montpellier being closed for part of the day.
The fairground has also been put in place and the huts will also be going in today.
