Grantley Hall is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, near Ripon and is receiving a multi-million pound restoration project, overseen by owners the Yorkshire-based Sykes family.
The historic Grade II* listed property set on its own private island, complete with a lake and English-heritage listed Japanese garden, is currently undergoing extensive restoration and will open as a luxury hotel in spring 2019.
The aim is to see Grantley Hall return to its former glory offering a luxury hotel and wellness retreat with 47 rooms along with an extensive and diverse range of dining options.
A number of local companies are actively involved in the project and once open it’s estimated that it will create approximately 180 jobs/ opportunities.
Grantley Hall is aiming to make an impact on the gourmet scene in region with seven drinking and dining venues.
- Bar and Restaurant Eighty-Eight, offerer fine dining with an experiential Pan-Asian experience with live music
- Fletchers Restaurant will be for more relaxed all-day dining, serving British and European dishes
- Valeria’s, named after the owner, a glamorous late night Champagne and cocktail bar and The Drawing Room, the a setting for a British afternoon tea
Already in post, General Manager, Andrew McPherson was previously at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa.
