Second dedicated bus service to be introduced for Harrogate College students

15 February 2017

Harrogate College are planning to launch its second college bus route in September 2017.

The introduction is part of a new five year transport strategy to link students in more rural areas to education at Harrogate College. The new bus route will connect Bedale to Harrogate College.

It will offer new and returning students aged 16 and over (on 31 August 2017) living in Leeming Bar, Bedale, Masham, Sawley and Ripley*, the opportunity to travel daily on college transport, straight to the College’s front door.

Students will be able to jump on the college bus for just £1 each way and some may be eligible for free transport.

The move to launch the bus route follows the success of the first college bus route that picks students up from Boston Spa, Wetherby and Spofforth, which will also be continuing from September 2017.

For further information on the new bus route and how to apply for a seat, please contact oncourse@harrogate.ac.uk or call 01423 878211 to request your form.
