Dacres Commercial has successfully sold a prominent industrial site with adjoining land that covers approximately 2.77 acres, close to Knaresborough town centre.
The site, which is located close to the A59 on Hambleton Grove, has been acquired by a Private Pension Client of Knight Frank. They are planning to refurbish the site’s three main buildings, which offer approximately 63,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, before re-letting the units.
Dacres Commercial sold the site on behalf of door, window and building products manufacturer, The Litchfield Group which is based in Derbyshire.
Matthew Brear from Dacres Commercial said:
We’re delighted to complete the sale of this significant site in what is a highly sought after area, just minutes away from Knaresborough town centre. There is a huge amount of potential to redesign the existing layout and divide the site up around its three main buildings or even explore alternative uses for the land and its buildings.
Nick Prescott from Knight Frank said:
This is a fantastic result for my client and more importantly the Harrogate and Knaresborough industrial occupier market where pent up demand currently exists for this type of warehouse product. We are underway with the refurbishment of each unit to a high specification and are already registering high levels of interest.
