Harrogate District Foundation Trust has said it is pleased to announce that Neil McLean CBE has joined the Trust as Non-Executive Director.
Neil, who lives in the Harrogate area, brings with him a wealth of experience and skills. A well-known former lawyer, Neil was also Chair of the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership and Director of West and North Yorkshire Chamber. He is involved with several local community organisations.
Sandra Dodson, Chairman Harrogate District Foundation Trust said:
Neil joins the Trust and an important time when we are developing our services, new models of care and relaunching our maternity unit at Harrogate District Hospital. We welcome his support in helping us develop and provide these high quality services in Harrogate and across North Yorkshire and North Leeds.
Neil McLean Non-Executive Director, Harrogate District Foundation Trust said:
I am delighted to be joining the Trust which is so important to everyone in the district. Whilst the Trust is a high performer it, like most of the NHS, faces numerous and difficult challenges, but is facing up to these and is a leading player in improving health services. I very much hope that my experience can help the Trust to continue to improve its services and support our community.
