Man assaulted during Knaresborough aggravated burglary

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Knaresborough.

At around 10pm on Thursday 14 May 2015, three men broke into a house on Lands Lane. They assaulted one of the occupants and stole jewellery.

A 48-year-old man suffered injuries to his arms and legs in the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Enquiries into the burglary are ongoing and a scene guard remains in place at the property.

Officers are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to contact them with information.
