Police need to identify man after incident at Harrogate school

have released a CCTV image as they for a man to come forward after a suspicious incident at a in the town.

It occurred at around 10.15am on Tuesday 30 September 2014, at St Aidan’s High , Oatlands Drive.

The man entered the school and refused to leave when he was asked to do so by a member of staff. He was escorted from the property a short time later.

He did not approach or speak to any of the pupils at the school.

The man is described as a white man, aged around 30, with light brown hair and having a chubby face. At the time he was wearing a blue shirt and jeans and carrying a black holdall.

PC Andy Hanson, of Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: There may be a perfectly innocent reason that the man entered the school. If this is the case, I urge him to get in touch straight away, so that I can clear the issue up.

I am also keen to speak to anyone who recognises the man and ask them to get in touch as soon as possible.
