Knaresborough man seriously injured near Blubberhouses

A 67-year-old Knaresborough man, riding a motorcycle, has suffered serious injuries on the A59 near to Blubberhouses.

It occurred at around 3.45pm on Wednesday 24 September 2014, on Kex Gill Road, on the A59.

The collision involved a yellow Suzuki motorcycle, which was heading from Bolton Abbey towards Harrogate. The rider was wearing a dark coloured motorcycle jacket.

He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by air ambulance, where he currently remains in a critical condition.

Traffic Sergeant John Lumbard, of the Force’s Roads Policing Group, said: If you witnessed the collision, or saw the motorcycle prior to the incident, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away as you may have vital information which could help the investigation.
