The pupils at Brackenfield dressed as their favourite book character for World Book Day.

They were greeted at the gate by a wolf and three little pigs. After enjoying a World Book day assembly the older children read to younger children in their classrooms, showing the Brackenfield family ethos at its best.

The day was rounded off with a very successful cake sale in aid of Battersea Dogs Home.

Mrs. Skillington was delighted with the day: The childrens’ reading will be greatly enhanced by this . They have thoroughly enjoyed being their favourite book character and will be inspired to read more about the characters their friends have chosen. A big thank you to our Director of Studies, Mrs. Sowa for organising such a great day.
