Towers Legal appointed by HSBC to augment in-house legal team

8 October 2013

Harrogate law firm Towers Legal continues to build its reputation for the provision of commercial legal services, having been appointed by HSBC to provide legal advice to its Global HTS (HSBC Technology Services) legal team.

The move will see a member of the Towers Legal team being based in HSBC’s Leeds office three days a week, to provide legal support which will complement and enhance the Harrogate law firm’s “virtual in-house lawyer” service.

Towers Legal, which is headed by commercial litigation expert James Martin, has recently been strengthened with the appointment of Josephine Nylan as Head of Commercial Property and Emma Clement as Head of Corporate and Commercial Law.

Mr Martin (pictured)  said:

HSBC is arguably the biggest and best-known banking firm in the world, and to be appointed to help augment their in-house legal team is a major coup for us.

HSBC traditionally partners with large, global commercial law firms and Towers Legal represents a modern solution to the Bank’s demand for external legal solutions.

We believe the ‘YourTowers’ service will be very popular with a number of medium-sized and large businesses wanting outstanding, personalized legal services, on demand, without having to employ an in-house lawyer.

Our provision of services to HSBC demonstrates that we are capable of delivering at the highest level.
