Man named after fatal collision

Police have named the man who died as the result of a single vehicle road traffic collision near Ripon.

It occurred just after 11am on Saturday 3 August 2013 on Limekiln Bank on the B6265 prior to the junction with Studley Lane and involved a white BMW motorcycle.

The man who died was Peter Wilson-Mayor, who was aged 60 and from Darwen, Lancashire.

The inquest was opened and adjourned in Harrogate on Tuesday 6 August 2013.
