At around 18:30 on Saturday 23 March 2013, a Harrogate bound bus on route 36 was passing Wyke lane end, near to Harewood. A car travelling towards Leeds entered a skid in the snow and collided with the bus causing the vehicle to hit the verge.
It appears the car driver realised what was happening and moved to the nearside of his vehicle.
There were not believed to be any injuries.
Transdev recovered the bus back to Harrogate with the passengers having been transferred to a following journey. The bus had minor panel damage.
