Appeal for witnesses to Northallerton burglary

PoliceDetectives investigating a burglary in Northallerton are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Sometime between 10am and 4pm on Wednesday 20 February 2013 an iPad, cash and items of jewellery were taken when thieves broke into a house on St James Drive.

A gold pocket watch engraved with the initials JAG was also stolen during the burglary.

Officers are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.

Detective Constable Jason Roper, of Northallerton CID, said:

The pocket watch belonged to the victim’s late father and holds great sentimental value for her.

I am appealing to anyone who can help to identify those responsible for this burglary to come forward as soon as possible.

If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident, please contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
