Police investigate Northallerton burglary

PoliceNorthallerton police are appealing for information following a burglary in the town.

It occurred just after midday on Monday 11 February 2013, at a house on Pennine View, Romanby.

The burglars broke into the house by forcing open a door at the rear of the property. They left the house empty handed when they were disturbed by a resident who was at home.

PC Quita Passmore, of Northallerton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

This has naturally left the person who disturbed the burglars very shaken.

If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time, I urge you to come forward and contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
