Three Men Arrested on Suspicion of Murder in Leeds

Detectives investigating the murder of a man in city centre at the weekend have arrested three 18 year old men from , on suspicion of murder.

Robert Adamczyk, aged 28, from South Milford, was pronounced dead at General Infirmary on Sunday morning after being seriously injured in an attack near to The Grand theatre on the junction of Harrison Street and New Briggate shortly before 2am.

were called to the scene by paramedics following reports that a man had been assaulted by one of a group of three men and had fallen to the ground suffering serious head injuries.

A post-mortem examination has since given the cause of death as a head injury.

Detectives earlier today released CCTV images of the three men they want to trace. It shows them entering Space nightclub in Duncan Street after the incident.

Robert had been out in Leeds celebrating a friend’s stag night. He and one friend had left the group and gone to North , in New Briggate. The incident occurred after he and his friend left the .

The three men involved in the incident went off towards The Headrow afterwards.
