It was also named finalist in the ‘Integrated Communications’ category for the launch of online disability information portal for Adapted Vehicle Hire, I-drive, in the ‘Corporate and Business Communications’ category for its work with leading Property, Construction and Services group Kier and ‘Not for Profit’ for creating the world’s first underwater photography exhibition, Celebrations of the Sea, for the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society.

Acceleris Managing Director Peter Davenport said:

There is some excellent work being produced by agencies within the region so it is pleasing to have our campaigns shortlisted in these prestigious awards. I believe this reflects the diversity and high quality of our national client base, the creativity and success of our campaigns and the energy and commitment of a bunch of very talented people who make Acceleris the agency it is.

The agency, which has 15 staff, has also been shortlisted alongside client the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust in both the Not for Profit and Healthcare categories for the on-going campaign to retain life saving children’s congenital heart surgery at the Leeds General Infirmary which is currently at threat of closure due to a national review of heart surgery delivery.

Since it was launched in December 2006, Harrogate-based Acceleris has generated more than £6 million in revenues, is ranked within the top three of regional agencies by fee income and has secured a number of major client wins this year.

The winners will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Queen Hotel in Leeds on Thursday 15 November.
