Serious cycle accident in Harrogate

Police are appealing for information following an road traffic in the town.

It occurred at 7.15pm on Wednesday 13 June 2012, at the junction of Dragon Road and Road. It involved an Audi A3 and a pedal cycle.

As a result of the collision, the 49-year-old man riding the bike received serious injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening, and was taken to Harrogate District Hospital.

The driver of Audi was not injured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Group on 101, press option 2 and ask for Dave Seavers.
