Rossett Acre School – hoax bomb warning

Rossett Acre Primary in was closed today following the receipt of an email message warning of an explosive device on the premises.

Children were evacuated just before midday, to nearby playing fields where parents collected them.

North Yorkshire and the Metropolitan Service investigated the incident and established that the message was a malicious hoax.

The will reopen as usual tomorrow morning (Tuesday 29 May).
