Rossett Acre Primary School in Harrogate was closed today following the receipt of an email message warning of an explosive device on the premises.
Children were evacuated just before midday, to nearby playing fields where parents collected them.
North Yorkshire Police and the Metropolitan Police Service investigated the incident and established that the message was a malicious hoax.
The school will reopen as usual tomorrow morning (Tuesday 29 May).
