Harrogate Little Red Bus Service

12 April 2012

Harrogate-News would like to apologise to the Harrogate Little Red Bus service and the general public for confusion surrounding an article published yesterday (11 April 2012)

The organisation referred to in the article was Bentham Development Trust, which has entered administration and NOT the Harrogate Little Red Bus Service.

Harrogate District Community Transport (Little Red Bus) is not in any way involved with the liquidation of Bentham Development Trust. Bentham Development Trust operated community transport services in Craven as part of the Little Red Bus network but has no connection to Harrogate District Community Transport.

Harrogate District Community Transport has been asked to support the Craven Community to ensure that transport services can continue to be provided and people in Craven maintain their access to services. Additionally, the Harrogate Little Red Bus service has said it is  very happy to work with North Yorkshire County Council and others in the community to ensure that services are continued.

Harrogate Little Red Bus is not in administration and are in a strong financial position using a financial processes which is overseen by a board of trustees.

Apologies for the the inaccuracies and confusion created by the previous article.
