Police ask public to check out photo of fraud suspect

Northallerton have released an image of a suspect following a fraud in the town.

On Tuesday 4 October 2011, the suspect purchased a number of items from the Darlington branch of B&Q. At around 1.40pm the following day (Wednesday 5 October) the man entered the Northallerton branch of B&Q on Yafforth Road, where he took the same items from shelves before taking them to the checkout and using the receipt to obtain a refund.

PC Ciaran Conlon, of Northallerton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:

I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the man at either of the B&Q branches or can help to identify him to contact the or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
