Four teenagers now on bail over Valley Gardens fire

A fourth teenager arrested in connection with a suspected arson attack at a play park has been released on bail while enquiries continue – all four will answer bail at the end of November.

Four other teenagers have been released with no further action.

Arrests were made after the blaze, which destroyed a wooden fort at the Valley Gardens play park during the early hours of Saturday 8 October 2011.

Detectives have indicated that they are pleased with the public response to the investigation so far, but they still urging anyone who has yet to come forward with information to do so a soon as possible.
