Three vehicle road traffic accident in Ripley

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called to the Ripon Road in Ripley yesterday morning (19 June) to a road traffic accident.

Three vehicles were involved in the incident with fire crews needed to release a trapped casualty in a Vauxhall Corsa. The driver of the Corsa was male and aged approx late teens/early 20’s was transported to hospital via road ambulance with abdominal injuries.

The occupants of a Volvo and Jaguar S type were assessed at the scene by ambulance crew and determined to not require further treatment.

Fire crews from Harrogate, Ripon with the heavy rescue unit and Knaresborough attended.

Further details around the cause of the accident of not been released.
