Kirby Hill well damaged – Information appeal

Police are appealing for information after a historic well was damaged in Kirby Hill, near .

It occurred on Church Lane between 10pm on Wednesday 1 June and 8am Thursday 2 June. A vehicle hit the well causing extensive damage, valued at around £1,000.

The driver did not stop at the scene and has not reported the .

Police Constable Neil Roworth, of the Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am appealing to the driver of the car to come forward as I need to speak to them about the .

“I would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or garages that may have carried out repairs to the vehicle following the incident.”
