Information appeal over attempted burglary at Beech Grove

Police in Harrogate are asking for the public’s help following an attempted in the town.

It occurred at an address on Beech Grove, between 11.30pm on Tuesday 24 May and 9am Wednesday 25 May 2011.

The burglars removed the door handle and damaged the barrel of the lock. However, they left the premises before gaining access to the house.

Police Constable Lisa Jenkinson, of the Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of this attempted break in. I ask that they contact me at the earliest opportunity.”
