Kirsty Hallett (Chair of Harrogate District Climate Change Coalition Communications and Engagement Sub-group) demonstrating an air source heat pump (ASHP) which provides ample central heating and hot water for a local home. As burning fossil fuels in gas boilers is being legally phased out by the government, ASHPs will be used to heat most homes and many commercial spaces and hot water supplies using only renewable electricity.
