Death following road traffic collision near Leeds-Bradford Airport

Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision at the airfield viewing point on Cemetery Road in Yeadon, Leeds.

At around 10:30am on Thursday 29 March 2018, a red Renault Clio which had just reversed out of a parking place, drove forward and struck another parked car at a low speed.

The 51 year old driver of the Clio was subsequently taken to Leeds General Infirmary, but sadly died.

It is suspected that he had suffered a medical episode at the wheel.
