Equipment valued at over £5,000 stolen from van parked in Harrogate

Robbers have broken into a van parked in Harrogate and taken electrical contracting tools and equipment, valued at over £5,000.

  • Between approx 11pm on 29 December and 7am 30 December 2015
  • On Coppice Way in Harrogate

Robbers smashed a window on the van and then took a large amount of electrical contracting equipment.

The equipment taken includes:

  • Megger 1753 multifunction tester
  • Dewalt 18 volt Li-Ion cordless combi drill
  • Bosch 240 volt 4.5 kg SDS drill, Makita 18 v cordless SDS drill, Kewtech PAT Tester kit
  • Makita 18 volt cordless combi set, Fein Multimaster
  • Dewalt Laser level
  • Makita DAB radio and various Drill Bits
  • Screwdrivers etc

Due to the size of some of the equipment taken, the robbers would have taken the equipment in another vehicle, most likely a van.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, has any other information or has been offered any of the equipment is urged to call North Yorkshire Police using the non-emergency number of 101 quoting NYP 30122015-0196
