Local students to be recognised for achievements

Harrogate College higher education students studying across a range of programmes will celebrate their achievements at the higher education awards on Monday 8th October.

The prestigious Royal Hall will prove a fitting venue for students, staff and invited guests to celebrate the successful completion of their course of study.

Guests will include The Mayor of Harrogate Councillor Mr Windass, The Bishop of Knaresborough and local business leaders who will be in attendance to meet Harrogate and Districts future graduate workforce.

In addition to students collecting certificates a number of special awards will be presented including The Deans Prize for Arts, The Higher Education Award for Creative Arts, The Dean’s prize for Business and Science, The Harrogate International Business School Prize for student of the year and The Rollits Prize for Business and Enterprise.

Harrogate College Principal Anne-Marie Bostock said:

Higher education is a significant part of the college’s provision and it is important we celebrate the success of many of our further education students who have progressed to higher education within our local community.
