Harrogate Town AFC have signed Middlesbrough midfielder Brayden Johnson on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old caught the eye of current club Boro after a breakout season with Eastbourne Borough with the midfielder making 30+ apps for The National South side during the 24/25 campaign.
After signing for the Championship side in January 2025, Johnson would gain more first team experience out on loan at Gateshead and Kidderminster.
Head of Player Recruitment Lloyd Kerry:
He’s an athletic, ball-winning type, an all-action midfielder who will bring a lot of energy. His style of play is something we need in the middle of the park, he played 60 minutes for Middlesbrough’s 21s this week so he’s fit, ready to go and we think he’ll hit the ground running.
Brayden will wear the number 25 at Town and is available for this weekend’s lunchtime kick-off against Barrow, subject to FA and National League approval.
