Visitors to Millennium Square can explore the wonders of the universe this summer when a state-of-the-art mobile planetarium lands in Leeds.
Planetarium Go UK arrives on the square next month, promising immersive astronomy and science-based experiences which use the latest technology to capture the stunning far reaches of space.
Employing high-resolution digital projections all housed within a portable dome structure, the attraction will screen a programme of films for visitors of all ages.
From September 4-26, 2026, Planetarium Go UK will host the screenings every day between 11am and 6pm Sunday to Friday and 10am to 8pm on Saturdays.
Featuring 3-2-1 Lift Off (recommended 6+), From Earth to Universe (recommended 10+), Beyond the Sun (recommended 5+) and Voyager: The Never-Ending Story (recommended 5+), the programme aims to offer an accessible way for families, school groups and community audiences to engage with science and space exploration.

The planetarium is part of the programme of summer events which have taken place on Millennium Square this year, including another hugely successful Summer Series of concerts and performances which attracted audiences of thousands.
