The 20-year-old signs for an undisclosed fee from Middlesbrough on a two-year-contract.
“With Chance departing we are getting another defender with high potential.” Explained Head of Player Recruitment Lloyd Kerry.
“We think there’s a lot about his game where he can adapt quickly to men’s football, he communicates well, he’s aggressive, and he’s comfortable on the ball.”
“He suits our system in that right centre back role or the middle of a back three.
“He’s eager to get that opportunity to play men’s football and both parties feel it’s a good fit, so hopefully he can progress and do well for himself.”
Archie started his career at Chelsea before moving to North London and Tottenham Hotspur, eventually signing for Middlesbrough in 2025.
The defender would make his Championship debut last November before achieving promotion to The Football League during a short loan spell at Rochdale.
