Family entertainment includes dog agility displays, terrier racing, children’s horticultural classes, races and fancy dress. Visitors can also enjoy photography, creative handicrafts, floral, baking and preserves competitions, as well as a vintage vehicle display.

The show enjoys support from local businesses and the rural community, including the Boroughbridge Agricultural Society, Boroughbridge Chamber of Trade and the Boroughbridge Agricultural Society.
Newly appointed show president Amanda Gill said:
I am deeply honoured to be appointed president of our traditional rural show. We are very grateful to the local community for its ongoing support.
Agriculture is having a tough time, and it is more important than ever to work with our local community to demonstrate the importance of the rural economy to the public, our much‑loved countryside and the stability of the food chain for us all.
Stuart Gill, commercial director at Newby Hall, said:
The Aldborough and Boroughbridge Show is one of the highlights of our calendar and we are delighted to be welcoming it back to Newby again this year. It’s an amazing opportunity to enjoy some of the best of Yorkshire’s livestock, vintage vehicles and locally grown produce, as well as our spectacular gardens and adventure playground.
