This Saturday, 30 May 2026, the stunning backdrop of the North York Moors will play host to a brand new pop up artisan market at the Sutton Bank National Park Centre. Curated by event organiser Little Bird Made, the market will bring together an exclusive selection of the region’s finest independent makers, creators and producers from 10am.
Visitors can expect a vibrant showcase of curated artisan traders, offering everything from hand-crafted jewellery, crafts, original art and photography, unique home decor and local delicacies. The event marks an exciting new partnership, blending high-quality local shopping with one of Yorkshire’s most iconic scenic destinations.
Nestled near the famous White Horse of Kilburn, the market offers a complete day out for families, walkers, and shoppers alike. In addition to browsing the stalls, visitors can take advantage of the beautiful early summer weather forecast by exploring the national park’s legendary walking trails and dedicated family cycle routes.
The Sutton Bank National Park Centre will also have its gorgeous on-site cafe and fully stocked gift shop open throughout the day, providing the perfect spots to relax and refuel after a walk or a shopping spree.

We are delighted to be the latest venue for Little Bird Artisan Markets! Their passion and reputation for quality, variety, and showcasing local artisans is clear to see, and we can’t wait to see everyone here on Saturday 30 May.
Coupled with being a stone’s throw away from the ‘Finest View in England’, this has to be a winning combination of a day out!

I’m absolutely thrilled that Clayful Creations York will be part of the new market and I’d like to say a huge thank you to Little Bird Made and Sutton Bank for believing in independent makers. Opportunities like this make such a difference to small local businesses, and I am so grateful to be included in something that celebrates community, creativity and local talent.
