On Friday evening, local charity Dementia Forward hosted their third annual Winter Ball at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate – and what a night it was.
The event was sponsored by Walker Foster Solicitors.
It was an evening full of celebration, connection and fundraising, with supporters, partners and friends coming together in support of Dementia Forward’s vital work with people living with dementia and their families.

It was wonderful to have so many people in the room, all with the same mission – to have fun and raise money to support our work.
The atmosphere was incredible, and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves.
The headline sponsor for the event was Walker Foster Solicitors, without whom such a spectacular evening would not have been possible.
Dementia Forward were also touched that so many members of the Walker Foster team joined in the celebrations on the evening.

Guests were treated to a lively drinks reception performance from Pull Down the Moon, before enjoying a delicious three-course meal. Later, they danced the night away to the fantastic Frankly Jazz – or took a break to capture memories in the photo booth!
Dementia Forward would also like to thank Wellburn Care for sponsoring the evening’s entertainment, along with Promedica24 North Yorkshire, Lancashire & South Cumbria, and an anonymous drinks reception sponsor, whose generosity helped make the evening extra special.
Throughout the evening there were plenty of opportunities to get involved in fundraising, including a game of Play Your Cards Right – where the winner took home £100.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of local businesses and attendees, there was also a fantastic selection of prizes for the wishing tree, raffle and silent auction – all of which helped to make the night a great success and raise an incredible £10,000 to support local families affected by dementia.
Dementia Forward have said they would like to thank everyone who attended, sponsored, donated or volunteered to make the Winter Ball such a memorable occasion.
