British refurbished enterprise IT specialist Intelligent Servers has officially become Renewtech, following its acquisition by the Danish circular IT specialist of the same name. The rebrand marks the integration of one of the UK’s most established refurbished hardware businesses into a wider European operation now spanning Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, France, the UK, and Finland — with customers in over 80 countries.

For UK customers, the day-to-day experience does not change. The same technical specialists, account managers, and service standards remain in place at the company’s Harrogate base, which employs more than 50 people. But the magnitude of the new operations will only enhance the possibilities for their customers.
From Fallback to First Choice
Refurbished enterprise IT is rapidly becoming the new normal as price increases and sustainability initiatives become the guiding points for the market. With the new name follows ambitions to make refurbished enterprise IT hardware the first choice rather than a fallback option for organisations looking to reduce costs, extend the life of existing infrastructure and meet sustainability objectives.
An ambition that has been in the back of the mind since Intelligent Servers started 15 years ago, and by becoming Renewtech the right framework is ready to push the ambition. Intelligent Servers was acquired by Renewtech ApS late last year and is now fully integrated into the company as of 8th of June 2026.
