A local animal charity needs donations to pay for specialist treatment for two disabled kittens which have been hand reared since they were five-days-old.
Noir and Neve are now five-weeks-old and Harrogate Cat Rescue has needed to call on the expertise of vet Rhys Treharne at Swift Referrals to give them the best start in life.
The kittens were born with the genetic condition feline radial hemimelia, missing the radial bones in their front legs. Noir is affected in both front legs while Neve has it in one.
Lead volunteer Celia Dakin, said:
Despite this, they are thriving, playful, loving and developing just like other kittens, their determination is incredible to watch.

The kittens’ ongoing treatment will be expensive, their first consultation cost £450, so the charity is asking cat lovers to help out.
Celia said:
A donation no matter how small would mean the world to them and to us.
We need your help to give them the life they deserve.
